Krystal Creek Heartbreaker

Santiago KEI x Roxy Hart

Pinto Arabian colt.

We are proud to welcome this gorgeous son of Santiago KEI and Roxy.   ''Cricket''

Cricket as he is known at home is a fine example of the quality pintos we are ecstatic to be breeding here at KCA.

He is tall, has correct straight legs, a lovely short head and large eyes.

Like his parents and siblings before him Cricket as a wonderful easy going loving temperament.

This gorgeous colt will be offered FOR SALE to the best of homes where he will have a chance to hopefully meet his full potential in the show ring.

How very proud of our girl we are.

What a fantastic achievement for our little stud, up against the big guns with our home bred and trained Angel.

A day I will not forget, a very proud one!

Angel seen above the day after her first show, chilling out and enjoying a day without rugs on.

20th 2014

We welcome our only foal to the 2014 season.

Krystal Creek Divine Angel

RNZ Scorza x Gabrielle Ohh La La

In the early hours of Saturday September 20th we welcomed this beautiful little filly into our family.

Born 3 1/3 weeks early yet but a picture of health we are delighted that her beautiful mum Gabby was able to carry her nearly full term after she had been threatening to have Angel 8 weeks early.

April  2013

Grafton Show with KCA's coloured kids.

Today saw the show debut of our two pinto babies Krystal Creek Delta Dawn [left] and Krystal Creek Sorrento [right]

Both babies did us very proud. Sorrento came 2nd in his colt class and though Dawn didn't place in her large class of much older horses she could not have been better behaved and was a absolute doll the whole day.

These babies represented both our stallions on the day, Dawn being by Big Valley Yours Truly and Sorrento by Santiago KEI.

What a frill for us this was and the lovely comments from spectators made all the hard work so worth it.

Jan 28th 2013

This is the view our mares, foals and stallions had from upstairs in their stables. This was day two when the water was actually starting to go back down.

Colin on his way from house to stables via canoe.  Mares in make shift yards alongside the Hwy.

Colin taking Ella to the toilet around the house and out the front to the highway.            The property view from our car driving up the highway heading south.

Krystal Creek Delta Dawn, high and dry upstairs in her stable would like to say a BIG THANKYOU to everybody who were so worried about us and offered help!!!  We truly do have a amazing family and friends.

Then  Champion stallion

We were extremely proud of our boy as he turns some heads and won some hearts.

Finally KRYSTAL CREEK KIARRA has been broken to saddle and is currently in training for her Endurance career.

Its such a great feeling to breed, raise and then break in your own horse. Im so proud of this mare. Now the fun begins!!

Seen here is Kiarra [left] and her dam Allyndah Ay Elle.

A lovely afternoon at Yamba Beach was had with Santiago KEI

Champion Derivative  Grafton show 4/5/12

[Right] Kisses for the judge

We are very proud to announce that Krystal Creek Shakara attended her 2nd ever show and was awarded first in her filly/mare class and then

''Champion Derivative''

WOW  we are over the moon, she was the youngest Derivative but held her own.

Shakara shows off her ribbons to her little fans and looks for her carrots.

Our beautiful Gabriel Ohh La La also attended Grafton show where she was awarded 1st in classical head. Winning a lovely trophy donated by Allyndah Arabians

This was Gabbys first ever outing and first trip on a float so a huge day for her but she handled it well.

She made us proud and turned quite a few heads.

This beautiful mare is to be bred to Santiago this coming season!

We say goodbye to a very special pony.

MIA  [dec]

We are very saddened to write that on the 19th of April we had to lay to rest our precious pony Mia.

Mia suffered from complications after having to have her eye removed.  Due to her age of 25yrs her little body just could not cope with the drugs needed.

Our wonderful vet  worked late into the night to try and safe our girl but it wasnt meant to be.  Mia put on a brave fight till the end when it was decided to let her go.

This amazing pony graced our paddocks for 10yrs and was a part of our family. She taught many children to ride and many very special memories will always be with those kids.

We will  NEVER  forget our beautiful white little pony. We still cant beleive she is gone.

May she rest in peace.

Krystal Creek Shakara hits the show ring.

On the 21/10 our gorgeous pally girl attended her first ever show at Lismore's North Coast Nationals.

We are very proud of Shakara, it was a huge day for the baby and she came home with her first blue ribbon winning her class.

Bring on the next show, I cant wait to get Shakara out again!!!

A wonderful day was had when we took our gorgeous fill Krystal Creek Shakara for her first ever float ride to the beach.

Shakara behaved herself both in the float and on the beach like she had done it a million times. We are extremely proud of  our gorgeous girl.

12th-13th August 2011

Santiago goes to boot camp under saddle.

Santiago goes to Graig Colliyer for for some fine tuning under saddle.

Graig is a awesome horseman and we thank him heaps for his time and amazing job he did with Santiago this weekend.

Excuse the short stirrups in this pic as Graig is quite alot taller then me and Id just got out of the saddle.

January 2011

January has seen us underwater when we were hit by the flood. Thankfully all people and horses have come out of it well and healthy.

The river came right to our back door, under the house and out the front to the Pacific Hwy which was closed for some time. [Geez it was peaceful!!]

We live in paradise here but sometimes living right beside the mighty Clarence river sure can get scary when she starts to flood.

The view from our back yard in the 2011 flood.

A huge congratulations to Kaye Mitchell of Tasmania for completing a 160km endurance ride on her gutsy mare Krystal Creek Karisma.

What makes this mare even more special is that she is doing her rides BAREFOOT!!

What a wonderful achievement for Kaye, its hard work to get a horse to this level!!

We are very proud of Chrissy and would like to thank Kaye so much for giving Karisma a wonderful home where she is meeting her full potential.
